Media Release: Ashley Howden appointed CEO of Your Home Care

30 June 2025: Your Home Care, one of Queensland’s leading disability care providers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ashley Howden as Chief Executive Officer, following a successful three-month period as interim CEO.

Ashley joined Your Home Care in 2023 as a member of the Advisory Board and brings with him more than two decades of executive leadership experience across the healthcare, technology, sport, professional services, and FMCG sectors in Australia, New Zealand, South-East Asia and the UK.

A former journalist, Ashley’s career has spanned marketing service agencies in London through to senior roles in media, technology, and software. He is also a seasoned non-executive director and currently serves on the boards of Visit Sunshine Coast, the Sunshine Coast Business Awards, and several private companies across the region and internationally.

Congratulating Ashley on his appointment, Founder and Chairman Linda Delamotte said Ashley’s leadership is already having a positive impact.

“Ashley understands the heart of our organisation, the importance of putting clients first and supporting our people to deliver the highest standards of care,” Ms Delamotte said.

“After 15 years in this sector, and well before the NDIS, I’m proud that many of the clients who started with us in those early days are still with us today. That kind of loyalty reflects the deep trust we’ve built, and I’m confident Ashley will continue to honour that legacy while guiding us into our next chapter.”

Ashley said he is delighted to step into the role full-time and is looking forward to leading Your Home Care into its next chapter.

“Your Home Care exists to make a difference in people’s lives, and that purpose drives everything we do,” Mr Howden said.

“It’s a privilege to lead a team so committed to supporting people living with disabilities, and I’m excited to build on the care, trust and quality the organisation is known for.”

Ends.
