Meet the team
Linda worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years, working on both public and private industry and a variety of roles. After completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2009, she established her first business from start up, Your Home Care.
She is also Director of two additional complimentary businesses, Support Worker Training and Halo Living.
The ability to make a real difference to people's lives drives Linda to deliver high quality services to those who deserve nothing less.
Jasmine joined YHC in 2019 as our Service Manager and quickly became a highly valued member of our team. She was promoted to General Manager mid 2021.
You only have to watch Jasmine at work to know she is passionate, caring and committed to both the team and clients.
Supporting and empowering individuals to live in their own homes and maintain their independence is something that Jasmine finds extremely rewarding.
She also loves that the YHC team works together, with the same core values and clear vision of making a positive difference to every single client.
When not at work Jasmine spends time with her family, attending swimming lessons and gymnastics and hanging out with friends.
Payroll & HR Administrator
Joining the YHC team in 2020 Chris is our Payroll and HR Administrator and has the important role of helping us to find the best support workers who will work with our valued clients.
She understands the compassion that is required when you are working with the elderly and people living with a disability and prides herself on helping to recruit the right people to provide care and make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Chris spends her time away from work with her family and relaxes by regularly practicing yoga.
Cassandra decided to work in the Care Industry in 2019 as she wanted a career that would have a positive impact on others.
As a Care Coordinator at YHC she enjoys providing care and support to our clients and helping them to become independent and confident in their own abilities. She sees every day is a chance to do something different and to make a difference.
In her spare time Cassandra enjoys getting out in nature, singing, and playing guitar, and spending time with her family.
Complex Care, Coordinator
Having been with Your Home Care since 2017, Amy is a much-loved member of our team. She simply lights up a room whenever she enters and is loved by the clients and staff alike.
Amy exudes compassion and wholeheartedly commits to making a difference in the lives of others to improve their quality of life with care and respect.
Amy believes that the provision of quality care makes the world a better place for the client and while we cannot change the whole world, we can make it better for each person we encounter.
Amy enjoys her downtime reading, walking, and cooking up a storm!
A love of people and wanting to make a difference is what made Ally decide to enter the home care industry.
As a Care Coordinator Ally’s job is to ensure a client receives the best care possible and works with the team to assist people to remain in their own home for as long as possible.
She loves the values that Your Home Care stands for and the team environment that is caring and supportive.
When she is not at work Ally can be found taking long walks with her camera in hand as she has quite the gift for taking incredible photos.
Valma joined the Your Home Care in May 2021 as our HR Coordinator and quickly became a valued member of the team. Valma plays an important role in ensuring our team leaders are supported in their roles when delivering outstanding care to our clients. She also ensures the whole team feel supported to continually deliver great outcomes for our clients and building on a positive work culture.
When not at work Valma loves to take long hikes or walks along the beach exploring all the Sunshine Coast has to offer.
Joining the team in February 2021 Meg takes great pride in the work she does which sees her responsible for ensuring the team are paid correctly and on time. She believes that this is one of the small ways a company can show their staff they are important.
Drawn to Your Home Care because of our work culture and team values Meg appreciates seeing them "in action" on a daily basis as our team interacts with each other and our clients.
Although she would love some more free time in her busy life, Meg loves nothing more than relaxing with a good book and a cup of tea.
Complex Care Team Leader
Neille has always been passionate about helping people. It takes a special kind of patience and genuine concern to help make even a small difference in the lives of those who need assistance which was why Neille found herself working in this line of work.
As a Complex Care Team Leader Neille leads by example and embodies Your Home Care's core values of "heart, openness and empowerment" to bring the team together to achieve the goal of successfully providing quality care to our clients and in upholding the company culture.
When not at working Neille loves to unwind by having dinner with friends or just hanging out at home watching movies.
Business Relationship Coordinator
Kerri comes to Your Home Care with a strong customer service background. Her caring and positive approach to life combined with her genuine desire to help others is always evident as she loves connecting with people and hearing their stories and believes that there is a lesson to be learnt each day through interacting with others.
Kerri’s wholehearted approach makes her a great collaborator and someone who believes in helping others to grow and achieve their goals. Assisting others by making their lives a little easier or simply putting a smile on their faces is something that Kerri finds incredibly rewarding.
In her down time, Kerri enjoys spending time in or around the water, socializing with family and friends, looking after her grandson, walking, listening to music, baking, and exploring the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
Josie joined YHC in April 2020 and quickly became an integral part of the team. Josie loves being able to help others and working in an industry that makes such a positive difference in the lives of others was the perfect fit for her.
Josie's own values align with those of YHC and putting the client's needs first in order to help them live their best life is what motivates her on a daily basis. She says it is an added bonus to work alongside a great team who genuinely support each other, and work together to achieve the best outcomes for their clients as well as other as a team and individually.
When not at work Josie loves playing tennis, working out at the gym or just enjoying the beach.
